Conferencia "Ecología Política y Economía Ecológica" es dictada por ALAIN LIPIETZ
Alain Lipietz es un investigador y conferencista Francés de prestigio internacional en las áreas de economía y ecología y ex diputado del Parlamento Europeo por el Partido Verde. Además ocupó importantes cargos académicos, como Director de Investigación Científica del Centro Nacional de Investigación de Francia (CNRS) y en el gobierno de su país como miembro del Superior Consejo de la Cooperación Internacional, de la Comisión francesa de Desarrollo Sostenible, así como del Consejo de Análisis Económico del ex Primer Ministro Lionel Jospin.
Es autor de numerosas publicaciones traducidas en diversos idiomas respecto a Economía y Ecología. En particular a las relaciones socioeconómicas en el seno de las comunidades humanas, y entre ellas y su espacio, a nivel urbano, regional, nacional e internacional, a través de varias centenas de artículos. Esta orientación se refleja en su militancia cívica por la Ecología Política.
Como investigador de Ecología Política, el Prof. Lipietz analiza la Ecología desde el punto de vista de la naturaleza transformada por la actividad humana, que incluye la interacción compleja entre el medioambiente (medio de vida de la humanidad) y el funcionamiento económico, social y político de las comunidades humanas y de los modelos de desarrollo que ellas desenvuelven.
